Location: Brenham, TX
This residence has been meticulously crafted with keen attention to interior and exterior details to fully embody the colonial style. Carefully chosen window grid patterns, trim, column wrap design, and dormer proportions, every element embraces the timeless aesthetic.
Working closely with a wonderful client, we collaborated seamlessly to refine ideas, even down to closet layouts resulting in a home that flows well and maximizes views of the nearby pond. This home spans just over 3600 heated square feet and nearly 6,000 square feet under the roof!
Designer Note: A key element we considered for this house were the window muntin pattern, commonly called the grid pattern. While having full glass windows without a grid provides unobstructed views, it can take away from the character of your home.
Designer Note: A couple of things that we considered for this house were the window muntin pattern, commonly called the grid pattern, and the siding profile. While having full glass windows with no grids provides unobstructed views, it can take away from the exterior style of your home. V-groove, shiplap, or lap siding are just a few considerations for choosing the siding profile of your home.
