Location: Washington Co. TX
This full-home, 3600-square-foot remodel is an exciting one. Parts of the home were added over time with the original piece of the home being over 100 years old. After reviewing different options, the collective decision was to preserve as much as possible, while providing a new kitchen to accommodate the needs of a fairly large family who loves to cook.
Designer Note: If you are considering going-up or raising ceilings, you may want to consult with a structural engineer on whether the existing roof can stay. The direction of the rafters and ceiling joists may impact possibilities.
